Peter was a founder member of the Graphic Ballroom, a design studio based in Constantia for 16 years, where he developed his skills in marketing and photography as part of the creative team and head of the in-house photographic studio.

With his focus firmly set on photography now, Peter has produced work for a variety of clients in the food, wine and hospitality industry. With his background in the design and marketing industry, his creative input extends beyond the photographic application in collaborating with a client to achieve the end result, understanding the importance of the visual impact in good marketing strategies.

Peter has a passion for Landscape and nature photography and is inspired by the natural beauty of the Cederberg, the intricate rock formations and flora in its natural environment. He enjoys hosting photographic tours in the area and has exhibited a collection of limited edition, Black and white landscapes, panoramic views and floral impressions, which feature the contrasts and nuances of this ever-changing environment.

Jayesh Mitha

Jayesh is our web designer and front-end web developer with over 5 years of professional experience in the design industry.He specializes in creating custom web sites, focusing primarily on custom WordPress theme design and development.

“I was born PE and studied psychology but soon realised my passion lied in design. I was eager to learn and took on some web projects. Learning HTML and CSS changed my role as a full time designer/developer”, Jayesh recalls. After leaving the friendly city, he was hired by Men’s Health and Sports illustared Magazine, where he continued to learn from their amazingly talented designers and developers. He was later then hired by South Africa’s leading ecommerce companies, including Zando and Naspers.

“What I love about front-end development is the problem solving. It’s my job now to make a great design come to life. Technology is always evolving, so staying up on the latest techniques is not only necessary, it’s what keeps this field exciting”, says Jayesh.

During her nine years at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront Company, Annette was the founder of the “Big Six” marketing platform in Cape Town. She later moved on to Canal Walk to market the largest shopping centre in southern Africa, where she spent 4 years. Significant results were achieved with 55% of international tourists visiting Cape Town, shopping at Canal Walk.

Annette was a Board Member of Cape Town Tourism and served on the Committee of SAACI (Southern African Association for the Conference Industry). She is also a member of SATSA (South African Tourism Services Association) and Skal International.

Annette is completely dedicated to her clients. People who regularly receive emails from her which were sent at midnight, can attest to this. When she does occasionally take time off, she can be found with a pack strapped to her back, hiking along one of the Cape’s many magnificent walking trails with her husband John and their Collie, Skye.

Chris has always had a love for marketing and overcoming the challenges of communicating to an oversubscribed consumer. He cut his teeth in the FMCG and publishing sectors and gained further insight into the southern African tourism industry when he started an online tour and accommodation booking company in 2008 (er, good timing Chris).

His experiences in both marketing and tourism has enabled him to understand the needs of our clients and work with them to achieve their marketing objectives. “Continuous new developments in technology is creating massive opportunities for consumers and suppliers alike, but it’s also changing buying habits. Those who understand these habits best, will be the ones who prosper”.

Chris’s other love is long-distance open-water swimming. He also hates long-distance open-water swimming, but that has mostly to do with the cold Atlantic Ocean fluctuating between 10 – 14 degrees Celsius.

Vivienne uses her much valued PR and communication skills to run our social media management and creates content for websites and online platforms.

After graduating in Public Relation, Vivienne started at a growing South African travel company in the Editorial Team. After a few years she started working on a freelance basis predominately in the travel and tourism industry writing and editing travel-rich online articles and blogs.

Vivienne loves reading and collecting classics – she calls it her equivalent to antique shopping. Apart from books, she tries her hand at crafts and enjoys camping and the outdoors.
